The “My Home” Program is the Prince George’s County Department of Housing and Community Development’s home program that provides a loan for down payment and closing cost assistance to first-time homebuyers. This program is part of the County Executive’s strategy for community revitalization and stabilization of neighborhoods. Eric C. Homebuyers participating in the “My Home” program can purchase a home anywhere in Prince George’s County. And, if the homebuyer remains in their home as their primary residence for 10 years, the loan does not have to be repaid. Eric C.
